DOCTORAL STUDENTSIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Ramanujam E received a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with a Gold Medal and an M.E in Computer Science and Engineering with a University Rank from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He received a Ph.D degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in Time series mining using the Motif discovery process. He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, India. He is leading a research group, 'AmbiL'- Ambient Intelligence, and their team works on activity recognition for ambient intelligence, especially fall detection and multi-resident activity recognition systems. Along with AmbiL, the research team concentrates on spam SMS detection for Multilingual Indian languages.
