Hands-on Training on

Computational Intelligence for Health Informatics and Wearable Device Data Analysis

1st - 7th May 2023

About the Event

Computational Intelligence in Health Informatics and Wearable Device Data Analysis presents state-of-the-art innovations; research, design, and implementation of methodological and algorithmic solutions to data processing problems, including analysis of evolving trends in health informatics and computer-aided diagnosis.  The main objective of this training and workshop is to provide a discussion platform for research scholars, scientists, educators, and faculty about the latest innovations in the foundations, theories, models, and applications for multi-disciplinary research encompassing health informatics, medical imaging, wearable devices data collection, and data analytics. The rate of older adults is increasing at an alarming rate worldwide. They often have cases of falls. Due to the lack of information and assistance, most of them suffer from serious injuries, and some even dieMultiple studies on fall detection have been done using wearable sensors for elderly care and patients. Wearable and inbuilt smartphone sensors have gained much attention in the last few decades because of their easy availability, cost measure, and sensing capabilities. These sensors are used in numerous applications like human activity recognition, gait recognition, fall detection, and many more. To perform data analysis on the data received from wearable health devices, the manpower is to be trained as it is being used by many individuals for precautionary measures. Digital medical images are widely used for diagnostic purposes. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge on algorithms for medical image analysis focusing on enhancement, segmentation, multi-modal registration, classification, and patient monitoring and management. It also covers simulation and modeling, measurement and control, analysis, information extraction, and monitoring of physiological data in clinical medicine and the biological sciences.
