Our student conduct experiment on High Performance Computing (Supercomputer), Big Data, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Computer Networking, Wireless Sensor Networking, Soft Computing, Image/Video/Speech processing, Signal Processing and many more research areas. We have very good number of student publication on IEEE, ACM, Springer as well as in leading journals. Even, our student developed websites, Android Apps and many other small softwares. The student of CSE in NIT Silchar enjoys by developing software, nurturing new ideas, Innovates, publishing research paper, attending/conducting workshop, opening owner software farm and many more educational related activities.
The CSE at NIT Silchar is made up of mix of 30 years of experienced and very young faculties. The faculties are provided every facilities to live their happy life and research. Once joined as faculties of CSE, NIT Silchar, never turns over to other institute, because of the CSE in NIT Silchar is very different from other institute. The department challenges the world.
