Natural Language Processing

Natural language processing (NLP) has recently come under the lime for representing and analysing human language computationally. It is a tract of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Linguistics, dedicated to make computers understand the written or spoken statements or words in human languages. It has spread its applications in various fields such as machine translation, email spam detection, information extraction, summarization, medical, and question answering etc. The ultimate objective of NLP is to read, decipher, understand, and make sense of the human languages in a manner that is valuable. And it booming thanks to the huge improvements in the access to data and the increase in computational power, which are allowing practitioners to achieve meaningful results in areas like healthcare, media, finance and human resources, among others. The field of interested topics of NLP are enlisted below:

  • Information Retrieval
  • Machine Translation
  • Question Answering
  • Text Summarization
  • Machine Intelligence
  • Social Media Analytics
  • Sentiment Analysis
  • Speech & Image Processing
